Happy Owl Glass Cufflinks

And now for something completely different..

These handmade glass cufflinks from Happy Owl Glassworks are super cool. The next step is to find a cufflink set with real beetles encased in resin

IMOOI Cufflinks

IMOOI Cufflinks

One of my favourite designer cufflink labels right now has got to be IMOOI, a Canadian based company taking the world by storm with their stunning modern designs.

It’s hard to choose from their great range but my top pick has got to be these Punch cufflinks made from stainless steel and rubber. To be seen adorning my wrists shortly. Link

Do Leprechauns Wear Cufflinks?

Filed under: Country / Global Cufflinks - Administrator @ 11:00 am

So St Patrick’s day came and went for another year. Hope you managed to sing embarrasingly loud, drink a Guiness or two and get a decent sleep in on Saturday morning. Since you really can have too much of a good thing I’m afraid you’ll need to stow away the huge green fleecy hat and embarrasingly bright green t shirt for another year….However if you just can’t handle hiding your Irish roots inside for a whole 365 days some simple but elegant cufflinks are surely the perfect way to show your pride. Here’s a few from around the web to cater for all tastes and budgets:

Silver Shamrock Cufflinks

This pair of silver shamrock cufflinks from Wheesh.com will surely give you luck

Yer trying te steal me pot o gold

If you’re more of a gold cufflink type of guy this more ornate set from Cufflinks.com might be more your thing

Celtic Fawn Cufflinks

If you’re not such a big fan of clover, CustomCeltic has a great selection of Celtic cufflinks such as this pairCladdagh cufflinks

Finally we’ll finish our tour of the Emerald Isles with these Claddagh cufflinks
which hark from Galway.

Welcome To Cufflinks Central

Filed under: Uncategorized - Administrator @ 1:54 pm

Welcome to Cufflinks Central, a website totally devoted to those little metal things that keep your shirt sleeves together.

What has the web come to? Does the world actually need an entire blog focussed on one small accessory? Well maybe not, but given that there already seem to be blogs on everything from salami to pencil sharpners then why not?

I love cufflinks. If you’re a corporate rat like me there’s not much scope for individuality in the old blue shirt and black pants so cufflinks can be your little chance at proving you’re special !! In my internet wanderings however I discovered there was no central place to discover all the little treasures available on line. Looking for a certain type of link required endless trawling through the many stores that exist. Hopefully this site will help ease that and I’ll do the dog work for you.

If you’re a fan like me I’d love to hear I’m not the only one out there with this obsession. Leave a comment and tell me what your favourite store is, or even better take a pic of your favourite pair of cufflinks, throw it on flickr and send me a link.
